Professor Yangsiyu Lu, together with PhD students Yang Zhang, Jiao Xiong, Chenglin Li, Yafei Xu, and Qing Huang, was invited to the Energy Development Research Institute of China Southern Power Grid for an academic visit and exchange, where they engaged in discussions on research topics of mutual interest.
Professor Yangsiyu Lu was invited to give a seminar at Jinan University titled “Shine on Small Mines: Size-Based Economic Effects of Coal Mine Closure.”
MPhil student Siyuan Fan was invited to present her co-authored research with Professor Yangsiyu Lu, titled “Identifying Climate Adaptation Projects in Local Government Bonds: Using AI-Supported Text Analysis,” at the 2025 International Conference on Climate and Energy Finance (ICEF), held in Guangzhou, China, from June 13 to 15.
