PhD candidate Zhenhuan Yang was recently invited to present his doctoral research, Adapting Procurement to Climate Shocks: Government Procurement Responses to Extreme Rainfall, at the CNCC Green Bag Seminar.
PhD candidate Zhenhuan Yang presented his research at an internal Northwestern Polytechnical University seminar via an online platform. His work, preliminarily entitled “Identifying Climate Adaptation Projects in Local Government Bonds Using AI-Supported Text Analysis,” was conducted in collaboration with Siyuan FAN and Professor Yangsiyu LU. He exchanged viewpoints and discussed LLM-related topics with attending scholars.
PhD candidate Zhenhuan Yang was invited to present his research titled “Raining on Bond: The Impact of Extreme Rain on Local Financing Costs” at the 3rd Conference on Sustainable Banking & Finance(CSBF), held at the University of Naples “Parthenope” in Naples (Napoli), Italy, from July 1 to 2.
PhD candidate Zhenhuan Yang was invited to present his co-authored research with Professor Yangsiyu Lu, titled “Raining on Bond: The Impact of Extreme Rain on Local Financing Costs,” at the 2025 Annual Conference of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE), held in Bergen, Norway, from June 16 to 19.
PhD student Zhenhuan Yang was invited to present his research titled “Raining on Bond: The Impact of Extreme Rainfall on Local Financing Costs,” co-authored with Professor Yangsiyu Lu, at the 4th Annual Conference of the Chinese Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (CAERE), held on May 17–18 and hosted by the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
PhD student Zhenhuan Yang participated in CNCC Green Bag and delivered a talk about “Raining on Bonds: The Financing Costs of Extreme Rain on Urban Investment Bonds".
PhD student Zhenhuan Yang was invited to attend the 6th Tianjin University Economics Doctoral Academic Forum and make an academic report titled:Raining on Bonds: The Financing Costs of Extreme Rain on Urban Investment Bonds.
