Xinbin Zhao is a first-year MPhil student in the Energy Infrastructure and Climate Policy Lab. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics and Trade from Beijing University of Chemical Technology, with an academic background that includes two years of prior study in Environmental Engineering. Her research interests center on environmental and energy economics, energy and the energy transition. Recently, she has been exploring how generative AI can be leveraged to optimize predictions within energy systems. Prior to her graduate studies, she gained practical experience by co-founding a startup focused on concentrated solar power (CSP) generation.
